How do I register for MPesa?
Go to your Mobile Phone Apps and select the Toolkit application.
Select M-PESA.
Select “Activate” or “Wezesha”.
Enter the 4-digit number you received during Mpesa registration from M-PESA.
You will be prompted to create New PIN, and you can enter any Four (4) digits you can easily remember.
Can I register my Safaricom line online?
Click on the REGISTER tab. Check the ‘Accept the Terms of Service’ box to accept the terms and conditions. Click on Register to activate your new account.
How much do I need to start mpesa?
You need to register your MPesa business under a registered Limited Company.
The company should have been operating for at least six months.
You must have a minimum number of three outlets that are operating under a registered limited company. You need to make an initial deposit float of 5,401 cedis.
How do I put money on my mpesa account?
Go to an authorized M-PESA agent with your phone and original ID.
Inform the agent how much you wish to deposit.
They will use their agent phone to send you e-money in exchange for cash.
You and your agent will receive an SMS from M-PESA confirming the transaction.
