1. Job Title: Pharmacy Services Associate

At mPharma, we start and end our day thinking about how we can enable patients to afford their medications. We’re a small but growing team of 300+ members, headquartered in Accra, Ghana, backed by mission-driven investors. We’ve joined hands with third-party payers, drug manufacturers, and healthcare providers to develop products and services that directly reduce the costs of prescription drugs for patients. In only a few years, we’ve managed to provide low-cost, high-quality medicines to hundreds of thousands of patients across seven African countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi & Rwanda).

mPharma is looking for a responsible and trustworthy professional with exceptionally high work standards to join our team as a Pharmacy Services Associate for QualityRx. This role entails the day-to-day management of the QRx Pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the pharmacies are following the guidelines in the Franchise Manual.
• Provide weekly business updates and performance of assigned Pharmacies.
• Undertake monthly business review meetings with Partners on business performance and institute performance improvement strategies where necessary.
• Maintain and manage inventory, ordering new supplies when necessary, keeping inventory areas organized, follow up on orders placed with SCM, fulfillment, and delivery.
• Coordinate with the Mutti team and provide support in the deployment of health screenings, Community Health, Telemedicine consultation, and all other Patient-related programs that offer value to the Mutti ecosystem.
• Support the day-to-day seamless operations at QualityRx facilities and ensure that the pharmacy owners receive the right support.
• Work with Billing Team to provide reports on variance resolution and inventory process improvement.
• Tracking of outliers from facility’s order request to inform formulary additions
• Tracking of revenue (weekly and monthly) and cash deposits
• Monitor quantities ordered and match it with pharmacy consumption to inform demand forecast, supply.
• Monitor the output of training by the CS team and retraining when necessary
• Liaising with tech/product to provide support on the use of BLOOM and Ordering app.
• Update facility on changes in operations – e.g. price changes, the addition of new drugs, billing cycles, etc.
• Coordinate with SCM to manage expiries and their withdrawals.

This position reports to Country Lead – QualityRx

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• A licensed Pharmacist
• 2+ years of professional experience

Experience

• Fluent English with excellent writing, verbal, analytical and organizational skills

2. Job Title: Project Coordinator

mPharma is looking for a responsible and trustworthy professional with exceptionally high work standards to join our QRx Refurbishment team as a Project Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information on the QRx renovation project.
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes with the Contract Architect.
• Communicate with Pharmacy owners on renovation plans including designs and timelines.
• Provide maintenance support to partners post onboarding with Support from the Pharmacy Services Associate.
• Work with Renovation firms to provide the most cost-effective and value-for-money budgets through estimate review provided by the firms.
• Work with Onboarding Associates and in monitoring project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Ensure the renovation schedule is within agreed timelines.
• Support Onboarding Associate in preparing the Pharmacy for opening/launch.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Bachelor of Science Quantity Surveying or Project management with construction experience
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years experience in Construction and Project Management in the healthcare sector
• Understanding of Project Management and influencing stakeholders
• Enthusiasm to work with an early-stage start-up, commitment to helping us grow, and passion for healthcare in Africa.

3. Job Title: Onboarding Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding process of the pharmacy after signing (hands over to the post-onboarding team after launch/opening).
• Work with the refurbishment team on the renovation project:
? Budget and design
? Coordinate with the refurbishment and provide updates to Lead
? Liaise between pharmacy owners and refurbishment team
• Stock:
? Provide existing drug list of the pharmacy to SCM for stock count exercise
? Coordinate with SCM and pharmacy team on stock count exercise
? Coordinate with data & ops and SCM on starter pack list using the consumption profile to inform 1st PO
? Work with the facility in placing their 1st PO and coordinate delivery of the order.
• Provide pharmacy staff with the requisite training on customer service, Bloom/Mutti app training, pharmacy services training.
• Coordinate with the Mutti team on Launch (health) screening including marketing of the health screening.
• Supervise the setup of the Pharmacy with mPharma-branded materials and Mutti marketing materials (Mutti Basket) in preparation for opening and/or launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on assigned facility targets and associated high revenue contribution.
• Conduct pharmacy assessment using the GH-QRx scorecard.
• Engage potential community pharmacies; effectively communicate the values of mPharma and QRX Model Pharmacy Program.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with providers (QRx Pharmacies) in your assigned region through the organization of provider meetings and the application of other methodologies for customer acquisition.
• Lead initial engagements, signing of contracts, and ensure a smooth transition to the Refurbishment and On-Boarding team to maintain the service and relationships.
• Retrieve data on historical sales, operation expenses, business operation certificate, Pharmacy council certificate, and liabilities and share with the Sales Team Lead-QRx.
