Jay Black was born David Blatt and died on October 22, 2021. In the 1960s, when he was the lead singer of the band Jay and the Americans, he was a well-known American musician.

“This Magic Moment,” “Cara Mia,” and “Come a Little Bit Closer” were all hits for the group.

Beau Black’s dad Black was born in Astoria, Queens, but he grew up in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn.
