CSSPS 2021 Placement Checker The result placement checker for Senior High School (SHS) 2021/2022 has been activated in the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). Candidates may now get their BECE placement results through the site by following the steps outlined below.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education are yet to issue the 2021 School Selection and Placement results for the 2021/2022 academic year. This book was only available last year.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) uses the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) to place qualified Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Senior High School (SHS), Technical Institutes (TI), and Vocational Institutes.

To verify your CSSPS placement online, follow the procedures outlined below.

• The first step is to make sure you have the placement checker, which we will sell when it becomes available.

• Make sure you have access to a computer with Internet connection.

• Using a computer, go to the CSSPS result checker web portal at http://www.cssps.gov.gh/ or https://www.cssps.org/.

• Next, input your BECE index number. It should have ten digits. Also, your examination year. For example, if your index number is 1234567890 and the year of your examination is 2021, use 123456789021.

• A serial number will be assigned to your checker. In the space provided, enter the serial number located on the top of the scratch card.

• Enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number), which may be found on the scratch card you bought.

• When you’re finished, click submit. Wait patiently for the results window to appear. If you are successful, you will see the CSSPS placement checker print form option. To print your form, click the print button.

How to Get BECE Placement Results Via SMS

If the preceding approach does not work, call *447*160# to retrieve your placement on your phone. OR

BECE candidates may CONFIRM schools they picked for this year’s placement exercise by texting their 10-DIGIT INDEX NUMBER to short code 1060.

Text 1234567890 to short code 1060 on all networks, for example, if your index number is 1234567890.

NOTE: There is no need to include [SPACE] anywhere; just text the 10-DIGIT INDEX NUMBER to the 1060 shortcode.

If that doesn’t work, candidates may text their index numbers to the shortcode 1060, followed by the final two (2) digits of their graduation year, on the following networks: MTN, Vodafone, Airtel, Tigo, and Kasapa.

That is you first text XXXXXXXXXXYY to 1060 where the ‘X‘ part represents your 10-Digit Index Number and the ‘Y‘ part represents the 2-Digit year of completion.

The procedure, however, is not without flaws.

You can run into various issues when going through this procedure.

The most typical issue is when you enter your information but the system does not recognize it. So, when statements like “Sorry, the Index Number, Scratch Card Number/PIN Number does not exist,” they appear. Please double-check and retype.

Don’t worry, you’ll get the placement form later. Retry with the same scratch card. Do not be tempted to purchase another scratch card since the problem is not with the scratch card itself.

Some of the reasons you may be having trouble printing your admission paperwork include:

• A large number: When a large number of individuals check their results on the website, it slows down. As a result, instead of panicking, you should just remain patient.

• Withheld results: You may face difficulties if your results were obtained later than others. If the results are withheld, you will be able to get them later, so keep checking until you do.
