WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO USE FCMB MOBILE BANKING?
Here’s what you’ll need to start the process of registering:
Your FCMB bank account is already linked to your phone number. Usually, it is the number you used when you signed up.
You will also need to connect to a mobile network like MTN, Airtel, Glo, etc.
When you sign up, you will need to give information about your bank account.
You might also need to have your ATM card or other information ready.

It is easy to sign up for the mobile banking service. Right now, all you need to do is open an account with Nigeria’s FCMB bank, and you’re good to go.
When you sign up for a bank account, they will ask for your phone number. You must give the phone number you want to use for mobile banking.
You will use the same number to set up the USSD transfer code.
So, when you open an account with FCMB bank, you are automatically signed up for the mobile banking service.
And it’s a big deal.

HOW TO ACTIVATE THE FCMB TRANSFER CODE IN NIGERIA
As you’ve seen, the FCMB mobile banking system can be used as soon as you register your bank account.
Again, there isn’t much that needs to be done to start the process. Just stay calm while I tell you the simple steps you need to take to turn on the USSD code.
One thing to remember is that you will need to use the same phone number you used to open the bank account.
Here are the steps you need to take to activate the FCMB transfer code:
1. On your phone, type *329*214#.
2.Then, FCMB will send you a message with a list of items.
The USSD code can be turned on with a Card, an Account, or a Wallet.
4. Choose the second option (2), “Activate with account.”
5. Hit the “Send” button.
6. Right after that, a new message will pop up on your screen asking for your bank account number.
7. Type in your account number correctly and press the send button.
Wait for a message telling you that your FCMB transfer code for mobile banking has been successfully set up.

HOW TO CHANGE FCMB MOBILE BANKING PIN
As soon as you activate your USSD code, you need to change your FCMB mobile banking PIN.
Here are the steps:
1. Press *329*214# on your phone again.
2. Find Security and click on it.
3.Click on Change PIN. You can change your PIN for mobile banking here.
4. Type in your new PIN. This is a four-number secret code that only you know.
5. Make sure that your PIN for mobile banking is easy for you to remember but hard for someone else to figure out.
6. When you are finished, press the send button.
Make sure you don’t tell anyone your secret code. Also, if you forget your PIN, you have to go to the bank and reset it before you can use FCMB mobile banking in Nigeria again.
