Recruitment Of Community Development Specialist

The Community Development Specialist is to provide oversight for the Of LOW Income Customer Support activities in the Regions, Districts and Communities.

Job Responsibilities

  3. To regularly procure the needed resources administratively the and Physical Mapping out of Low Income Urban Communities I-I UC ) in the Region.
  4. To With Regional LOW Income Customer Support unit Heads to develop and a Community Consultation Sensitization Plan for all pro-poor districts in the Regions.
  5. To ensure effective coordination with public institutions. private sect« operators and civil society organizations in promoting the pro-poor agenda.
  6. To ensure effective With Other utility departments. sensitizing and training of utility staff in poor matters.
  7. To ensure annual and timely budgets are prepared all LICS Units from the to the districts and establish a regular review at all levels.
  8. To conduct human and social impact analysis to assess and ensure that pro-poor projects are managed to be operationally self-sustaining including conducting pre and feasibility assessments on all
  9. To develop a framework for understanding of the nature of urban poor demand for water services and working closely with Other team to aggregate this to fit into the service requirement needs of the urban consumers.
  10. In consultation With PURC Other government agencies to establish viable pricing strategies that are responsive to urban poor consumers.

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s in a Science or related field.
  • At least three (3 ) to five (S) years post-qualification working experience and sound knowledge of water sector operations.

The Knowledge Management Expert wilt be in charge of handling all activities related to the sharing and storing Of knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.
  2. Implementing initiatives and lead efforts for project evaluations, analysis and learning.
  3. Collection, structuring and digitatty storing of information, such as customer satisfaction.
  4. Developing and conducting customer satisfaction surveys as well as developing and maintaining Low Incorne urban Communities (LIUC ) service databases.
  5. Efficiently liaising with staff and providing them the necessary guidance and Support so that the team data collection and reporting efforts reap positive results.
  6. Oversee capacity building and support for internat knowledge acquisition, management and sharing: ensure relevant communities Of practice are developed and strengthened.

Job Qualifications
