HOW TO EASILY REGISTER FOR A NIGERIAN NATIONAL ID NUMBER (NIN)

Follow these steps if you want to sign up for a NIN number in Nigeria:

1. Go to https://penrol.nimc.gov.ng/loginForm.tpl.html.php to get to the NIMC pre-enrollment portal.

2. Fill out the form with your information.

3. Please make sure that all required fields are correctly filled out.

4. Then, get the pre-enrollment form by clicking on the link.

5. You have to print out the form before you can send it in.

6. Once you’ve filled out the pre-enrollment form for NIN registration, you need to send it to NIMC.

7. The best way to get to the NIN registration center would be to walk there.

8. Make sure you present all your supporting documents.

9. The NIMC officer will check the information on your NIN registration.

After that, your biometric information will be taken down.

11. After that, you’ll be given the NIN transaction ID slip.

The National Identification Number (NIN) will be ready in 2 to 3 working days.

Keep in mind that this will be done after your biometric information has been collected.

Also, sometimes it will take longer than the usual 2 to 3 days to get a NIN.

CODE TO LINK NIN NUMBER ON AIRTEL (NIN CODE)

Airtel users have two main ways to link their NIN information to their Airtel line.

You can finish the process by going to the website https://www.airtel.com.ng/nin.

If you really want to use USSD, the code to link your NIN number to your Airtel Nigeria line is *121*1#.

To link your information, follow the steps below:

• Open your phone dialer.

• Type in *121*1#, which is the Airtel Nigeria NIN linking code.

Then, press 1 for “NIN Capture.”

• Click the button that says “Send.”

• Type in your 11-digit NIN number and press send.

Wait a few seconds to get a message telling you that your NIN details have been linked to your Airtel line.

To avoid being cut off on June 30th, please call us. If you have a nin, please sign up for it today by clicking this link: https://kmp.airtel.com.ng:6061/ or dialing *121*1#. If you already have a nin, you can link all of your Airtel lines by dialing *121*1#. By dialing *346#, you can get your nin.

CODE FOR LINKING NIN ON MTN (NIN CODE)

*785# is the USSD code to use if you have an MTN phone and want to link your National Identification Number to your line.

Then, you must follow the steps on your phone to finish the process of linking.

You can also link your MTN Nigeria line directly by dialing *785*Your NIN Number# and pressing send.

You can also finish the registration by going to https://mtnonline.com/nin, which is the MTN online portal.

In addition to the code, you can link your NIN information to your MTN Nigeria line through the myMTN App.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.

USSD CODE FOR LINKING NIN ON 9MOBILE

*200*8# is the code to use on 9mobile to link your NIN.

When you call that shortcode on your 9mobile phone, follow the steps on the screen to link your National Identification Number to the network.

You can also link your information on the https://www.9mobile.com.ng/nin website.

That is, you can sign up and link your details with the second option.

CODE TO LINK YOUR NIN NUMBER ON GLO

*109# is the official USSD code for linking your National ID information to your Glo line.

Follow the steps below if you want to link your information:

Use your Glo phone number to call *109#Your NIN#.

For example, if your Glo phone number is 90143657235, you can link that line to your NIN by dialing *109*90143657235#.

Then, on your phone, press the send button.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR NIN WITH USSD CODE (2021)

You can now use the USSD code on your phone to check your National Identification Number (NIN).

In Nigeria, the official USSD code to look up your NIN number is *346#.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) gave all subscribers two (2) weeks to provide a valid National Identification Number (NIN) so they could update their SIM registration. This is why the USSD code was made.

It’s interesting to know that customers of MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile can use this NIN USSD code.
