UMAT Admission Deadline is Extended
The management of UMAT wishes to announce the extension of the closing date for online applications.
All persons who meet the general entry requirements of the university are entitled to admission if the application process goes right. After meeting the entry requirements, applicants must also note that there are application requirements too.
Applicants can also refer to the list of courses at UmaT in our previous article to make their choice before applying.

The sale of admission forms for Degree, Diploma, and Certificate programmes for Ghanaians’ 2021/2022 academic year is open. Below is the cost of admission forms for each category of the programme.

Grade Aggregate System for WASSCE and SSSCE Holders
UMaT uses the WASSCE Grading Systems for the selection of candidates. Aggregate 36 is the minimum entry aggregate into all programmes. The following table shows this Grading System and the SSSCE equivalent grades.
Grading System Used for Selection at UMat
The University uses the Standard WASSCE/SSSCE grading system for the selection of students. Applicants are required to have not more than aggregate 36 as the minimum grade. Any grade above that shall not be considered for admission. The table below shows the grading system and its interpretation.
