Through a collaboration with the Caribbean island state of Grenada, the government secured 200 spots for medical students fleeing Ukraine at St George’s University of Medicine in Grenada.

On Tuesday, the Registrar of the Scholarships Secretariat, Kingsley Agyemang, and the University’s Director of Recruitment and Commercial Engagement, David Anthonisz, agreed to the agreement having this effect in the United Kingdom (UK).

A memorandum of understanding agreed by the two parties enables a certain group of students to study on scholarship.

Mr Kingsley Agyemang said in the Daily Graphic that St George’s University has yet to contact with students about difficulties concerning their potential admittance and that those who are not chosen for the chance would be offered the option to study with its member institutions.
