UMaT receives computers and other accessories from AMS to support their E-learning activities


African Mining Services (AMS), a contract mining and exploratory drilling services firm, has donated computers and accessories to the Tarkwa University of Mines and Technology. (UMaT).

Joseph Abu Baka, the company’s operations manager, stated during the university’s presentation event that AMS was a direct beneficiary of UMaT goods, resulting in support for its training activities.
He recognized the link between AMS and UMaT, noting that a number of UMaT alumni had gone on to work for AMS.

Professor Anthony Simons, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the UMaT, emphasized the critical role of computers and AMS assistance in their e-learning activities, particularly during COVID periods.
